Hello there!
At Catuskoti, our mission is to solve some of the most fundamental imbalances that plague our world today.
We are a research and development foundary, passionate about building products that augment human capability, enabling them to rise above the clutter and empowering them to solve problems. Through a thesis-driven approach, we will uncover where the real value exists for you, and then together, develop solutions that will unpack this value. Our philosophy is underscored by the following five principles:
- Led by Science. Science and technology have the enormous power to reshape our world. Only ideas backed by deep research, reflection, and insight have the power to bring about sustainable solutions to the problems we see around us today.
- Towards Dematerialization. Solutions that are designed to improve the human condition must also enable us to tread more lightly on this planet: consuming fewer resources, using less cropland, reducing pollution, and bringing back species we’d pushed to the brink of extinction.
- Beyond Capitalism. Capitalism describes a system that enables society to function through markets and private ownership. Capitalism is not the be-all and end-all of human existence. Nor is capitalism any way to run public services or judge their effectiveness, any way to understand the needs of education and health care, any way to organize our social lives, and express our values as human beings.
- Democratizing Access to Education and Health Care. Services such as Health Care and Education must be made available to all citizens. Regardless of their gender, language, religion, socio-economic status, or class, and race.
- Valuing Care Work. Market work allows us to earn a decent living. It is essential that we are all able to carry out market work in tandem with ‘Care Work’. Family care not only affects living standards but also has a direct impact on levels of consumption.
